Baghdad IZ (Green Zone)
Hello again from Baghdad. I think I misled some folks with my last post. I am currently in the Baghdad IZ or green zone. (International Zone). Camp Doha was where I originally flew into the middle east and got some more gear and inprocessing completed before heading to Baghdad. I traveled through Camp Victory and ate at their chow hall, which is very impressive. (of course it isn't in a palace like what is in the Baghdad IZ, but the food is better.) I flew from BIAP (Baghdad International Airport) to the green zone in a blackhawk helicopter. It was pretty cool.
I am now living in a remodeled garage that is part of the apparent brothel. It must have been a very nice garage because it now holds 20 rooms with individual airconditioners and 2 large bathrooms. It is nice to have indoor plumbing but you have to make sure not to flush any toilet paper down the stools. There constantly seems to be problems with the toilets. I shouldn't complain because at least we have indoor plumbing.
Hope everyone has a marvelous Easter!!

Happy Easter Heidi!
We're very proud of you and are thinking of you every day. We love the blog. I can't believe you are eating in a palace and working in a brothel - crazy!
I'm writing a scathing email to Nancy Pelosi's office today. Feel free to tell us the other VIPS who were there and i'll be sure to harrass them with letters and emails as well - i can't believe they didn't even talk to you! Jackasses.
