Home Visit
I am finally validated to leave for duty in Iraq. My duffles are packed and ready to go. I have been able to come home for a brief visit before traveling to Iraq because the flight out of country has been delayed. All the poor folks stuck at Fort Bliss have to move into "tent city" to make room for the next set of mobilized soldiers. Tent city is a permanent tent set up like a dorm with heating and cooling but no privacy.
I am savering every moment at home. Cole and Jay have an awesome routine in place. When I layed him down tonight he went right to sleep. He looks like he has grown an inch since I left 2 weeks ago. I can't imagine how big he will look after 3 months!
