Fort Bliss

Well I made it to Fort Bliss without too much incident. The weather has been nice here in El Paso. The first 2 days have seemed eternally long...but I am sure things will get better. Today I had to get 4 or 5 shots....typhoid, hep a and b, influenza, and a tb test. They really keep us moving. Up at 5 and back at 7 or 8 pm. Lots of hurry up and wait. I have really enjoyed all the well wishes from everyone, so keep them coming.

Sounds like they are keeping you busy. Hopefully the days will start to seem shorter. Already miss you.

Dad has already set his alarm to be at your house at 7 a.m. to get Cole tomorrow. I am writing at 9 a.m. on Tuesday. I stocked up on formula, stars and cereal.. Now if I can just get Jay to let me help with laundry, cleaning, etc. Keep us posted on everything. Love, Mom

Heidi:

We missed you guys in St. Louis, but I guess at least you can be glad you didn't have to endure the Creighton fans gloating.

We'll be thinking of you...Take good care of yourself and your patients! We'll see you soon.

It actually snowed here this morning....only it didn't look like snow. Keith said it looked like "dippin-dots!" It was such a shock to Bennett, he wouldn't go out and pee this morning. Silly boy... TTFN

Chris

I hope everything goes well for you in Iraq, I'm sure you will be of great help to the soldiers, the same way you have been to your patients as student, resident and psychiatrist. Love the pictures of your family. You have a beautiful boy!!. Take care of yourself.
