Weapons Training

Today I became qualified on the 9mm pistol. It was pretty fun. (it only took me two attempts and some special attention from the instructor.) I hadn't played enough video games to help me with my aim. With the first five shots I hit every target, but it was downhill from there. You are required to hit 16 out of 30 targets, and on my second try I hit 20. Nothing spectacular but I passed. The targets are pop up dummies up to 50 meters away. I also had to shoot wearing my chemical mask. On top of all of that I was in full body armor, with a load bearing vest. Luckily it was only about 70 degrees. It will be alot different in Iraq.

Oh my I think I am better off not knowing what you are doing:) We are looking forward to seeing Cole tomorrow. We are all very proud of you and look forward to reading your emails. Joseph added "Cole's Mommy" to his nightly prayer list. Take care, Love the Filippi's
