Land Navigation

Hello everyone!! I guess google is having a problem with blogger.com, not allowing anyone to make comments. I think it is still working from my end. Today was a very long and strenous day. I first had a refresher course on how to find a point on a map (Land Navigation) and then put the learning into practice. I first started with my roomate on the daytime grid and after 2 hours, had failed to find any of our grid points. I will say that I am a good problem solver, and found the answers from others. ( I don't think it really matters because everyone uses GPS anymore.) Anyway, I wasn't feeling very positive for the night Land Navigation course, and unfortunately no one had the same points as myself and my roomie. But believe it or not we were successful in only 40 minutes!! We even made it back home on the 2nd of 3 buses. Hooah. I did suffer a small injury of blisters on both of my feet.

Hello Heidi

Hope you got some bandaids for your blisters.

Called Jay between ll:30 and 12:00 to see if he needed us to come over while he ran some errands. He said no as he was bringing Cole over around 2 or 3. We are looking forward to playing with Cole. The girls will be over around 4:30. I know they will be excited to spend some time with Cole. Jay said Cole was just waking up. Jay was changing him. I ask him if Cole was saving his poopey diaper for Grandma. (haha) He said Cole had one for him already.

It is really warm here today. Our themometer says 86 degrees. Tomorrow isn't going to be as warm.

We miss you and are very proud of you. Hopefully, the time will go by fast.

Love you lots!!!

Sounds like you have had a VERY busy couple of days. Hope you are done with the "death by powerpoint" kinds of days. Those are miserable. The navigation thing sounds cool and it also sounds like you got it figured out.
I'm keeping an eye out for WSU on the bubble watch for you.
