The Iraqi Crud

Hello again from dusty Baghdad. I have been well indoctrinated into Baghdad living. First I got to experience Montezuma's Revenge, and now I have developed the Iraqi Crud. When I first arrived everyone was telling me about their sinus problems, but it didn't catch my attention until I started to have symptoms myself. Last week we had a dust storm that kept helicopters from flying, and many of the gate guards wore bandanas around their noses and mouths. Even inside the buildings it felt like I was inhaling dust and dirt. Now I have congestion, sneezing and a runny nose, all at the same time. I am hoping it is actually a cold instead of allergies so it will be time limited. I think I need to find a stylish desert camoufloge bandana to wear over my face when the dust starts to blow again.
